Dyspareunia refers to pain with intercourse.
There are many causes of dyspareunia. Some of these are;
Vaginal, pelvic or bladder infections
Vaginal scarring or narrowing (which can result from previous surgery or radiotherapy)
Atrophic Vaginitis
Vaginal Dryness
Skin conditions affecting the vulva
Other pelvic pathology such as cysts or tumours
Endometriosis
Vulvodynia
Vaginismus
